Swansea University Dylan Thomas Prize 2024 Longlist

Responsible for launching the careers of Max Porter and Raven Leilani, the Swansea University International Dylan Thomas Prize is awarded annually to a writer aged 39 or under. From fearless, boundary-pushing poetry to the finest fictional voices, the dozen longlisted titles for this year’s award represent some of the most innovative and engaging literature published in the past twelve months.

The shortlist will be announced on Thursday 21 March and the winner revealed on Thursday 16 May, shortly after International Dylan Thomas Day on Tuesday 14 May.
