We would like to welcome all new and existing account holders to make purchases on account, online.
Once your account is open, you will benefit from 30-day billing terms and you will be able to use your account at this site or in any of our Regional Account Centres or Waterstones bookshops. At this time your account can't be used at our consumer site, Waterstones.com, but you can make purchases from them using a credit card.
Before we can begin processing your orders, we will need you to complete a simple credit application. This applies to both new and existing customers, as it will generate an activation email to access your online account.
How to apply
The details you provide will enable us to process your orders with the correct level of discount if your are making purchases under contract or agreement.
To ensure that your credit facility meets the needs of your account, please request a credit limit that will accommodate the needs of all of your account users across a 30-day period.
If you are an existing Waterstones account holder, place your existing account number next to your institution name in brackets. When prompted 'Do you have an account?' please click "No".
Waiting for approval
Once submitted, your application will undergo an approval process with most applications being turned around in 1-2 working days.
Once your account has been approved, you will receive an email notification with instructions for activating your account.
Activating your account
Once this step has been completed, you're ready to authorise users and delivery addresses and make purchases.
Shopping with account sales
It's easy to add or remove items while you shop, and you can add or remove items at any time prior to completing your purchase at the checkout.
Once your order is submitted, a confirmation email will be sent to your user email address.
You will receive updates on the status of your order if all items are not available for despatch at the time of ordering. You can see the status of all your orders and history by logging into the 'My Account' page.
