Colleen Hoover

Colleen Hoover is an American author of New Adult and Young Adult novels as well as psychological thrillers.

Born in 1979 in Texas, Hoover self-published her first two books Slammed and Point of Retreat in 2012. Their popularity secured Hoover a book deal with an American publisher who released the third part of the Slammed trilogy, This Girl, the following year. Hoover followed this up with further series including Hopeless and Maybe as well as numerous standalone novels. Her 2016 novel It Ends With Us, a love triangle romance set in Boston, became a bestseller five years later after extensive coverage on social networking service TikTok.
