Holly Jackson

Born in Buckinghamshire, Holly attempted to write her first novel at the age of fifteen and went on to study English – focusing on literary linguistics and creative writing – at the University of Nottingham. Her debut novel, A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, was published in 2019 and spun the compelling tale of a model student who chooses to investigate a cold-case murder in her hometown as a school project. The page-turning thriller became a bestseller and spawned sequels Good Girl, Bad Blood (2020) and As Good as Dead (2021), as well as the 2021 prequel novella Kill Joy. 2022 saw the release of her first standalone thriller Five Survive.
