Dave Tomlinson, a London vicar, sums up the mood of many people. Many of us seek a spirituality and yet find great difficulty in how spirituality is expressed in the Church. Its not an anti church book as such but it is acknowledging that spirituality doesn't rely on church, It crops up all the time in our daily lives and its about cultivating a mindfulness, an awareness of the present and a freedom from guilt. The book is full of 'homespun' stories and is written in a friendly engaging and easy to read style. Recommended.
