Nawaz has a very interesting story to tell, but the content and the story are more mesmerising than his voice as a writer. But I still highly recommend the book to anyone interested in topics ranging from Middle East politics to terrorist studies to racial relations in the UK. I learned a lot about Islam and Islamist movements and Nawaz deliberately separates the two and shows how the latter is not based on religion but politics. I'm impressed with his energy and ability to work for what he believes, and his personal dynamic is evident throughout the pages.
