This was one of the first in the series to really divide fans. It's a very different book to the others in the series and is almost guaranteed to make you sob. Not my favourite but still a worthy and necessary read as it sets up many of the future storylines for the BDB universe.
This is definitely a tear jerker you will definitely need a hell of a lot of tesus. The story is awsome. I think with J. R Ward characters you get attached big time. Ward is an amazing writer. Brillant set of books and characters and story's.
