Cameron began his career in British small press comics, including drawing Bulldog Empire for 2000AD’s Judge Dredd Magazine. He went on to work on the weekly children’s comic The DFC, creating the Mo-Bot High strip, before becoming one of the main contributors to its successor The Phoenix in 2011. The popularity of the strips Mega Robo Bros– about two bickering robot brothers and their battle against Evil Robot 23 - and Donut Squad – centred on a gang of donuts determined to take over the world - led to the comics being collected in book form, and Donut Squad: Take Over the World being shortlisted for Waterstones Book of the Year 2025. In addition to his comic book work, Cameron has also penned three children’s novels revolving around the exploits of one of the schoolboy robots from Mega Robo Bros.
