READ BY GERALDINE MCEWAN. This classic story has been loved by millions of children since it was first published over 30 years ago. READ BY GERALDINE MCEWAN. The doorbell rings just as Sophie and her mummy are sitting down to tea. Who could it possibly be? What they certainly don't expect to see at the door is a big furry, stripy tiger! This modern classic picture book is perfect for reading aloud, or for small children to read to themselves time and again. All artwork has been re-originated and a fresh design approach has been used for this reformatted edition. CD: Track 1: The Tiger who came to tea with sound effects and additional material created for this audio by Judith Kerr Track 2: The Tiger who came to tea toned for read-along

I recently bought this for my three month old niece.
Obviously she can't read it now, but hopefully she will grow up to love this book as much as I did when I was little.

my two and a half year old has been enjoying this book for almost a year now and doesn't get tired of it. We enjoy reading it to her also.
