Discover Paul Durand-Ruel

One man realised the potential of a group of young artists at a time when they struggled to be accepted. Throughout his career, Paul Durand-Ruel sold 1000 Monets, 1500 Renoirs and 400 Degas, and created the modern art market in the process.

Featuring Impressionist masterpieces by Monet, Degas, Manet, Renoir, Pissarro, Sisley and more. Don’t miss the National Gallery’s major exhibition this spring.

Without him,” said Monet “we wouldn’t have survived.

*****As great a wall of paintings as you’ll see anywhere all year.Time Out
