Two new Harry Potter scripts
From our special correspondent at the Ministry of Magic, we have news to light the hearts of Muggles across the world, for there are now two very special dates in your calendar.
The stroke of midnight on the 31st July heralds the release of the script book Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Parts I & II, an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, accompanying the opening of a new play by Jack Thorne on the 30th July.
To boot, the19th of November marks the publication of the screenplay for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, a unique new story set in the wizarding world of Harry Potter, following Magizoologist Newt Scamander and an array of magical creatures in 1926 New York.
Taking on the prestigious position of illustrator is Jim Kay, an artist of superlative talent and imagination, thrust to fame from his work with Patrick Ness on A Monster Calls, a book which won both the Galaxy Children's Book Award 2011 and the Red House Children's Book Award in 2012.
We have copies of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone signed by the illustrator, perfect for discerning fans wanting an additional personal touch to their book.
Kay's work on Harry Potter has reignited our love of the books, and we're thrilled to hear he'll be returning for the illustrated edition of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets soon.
