Customer Support Advisor

We are looking for friendly and experienced customer service advisors to join our Customer Support team in our Central London Head Office (Piccadilly).

Excellent customer service is to Waterstones the beating heart of our business. Our shop teams are passionate about sharing their enthusiasm for books with customers and deliver the highest level of service to them. As is the case on our vibrant bookshop floors, this is also true behind the scenes with our support staff.

The customer service team at Waterstones is run by experienced booksellers who pride themselves on the quality of service they provide. As we approach the busiest and most iomportant time of year for Waterstones, Christmas, we need more helpful and enthusiastic book lovers to come and be a part of our team.

As an experienced Customer Service Advisor, you will of course;

  • have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written,
  • demonstrate strong customer service experience or have worked in a call centre/helpdesk environment
  • be very organised,
  • be able to prioritise your workload
  • be fully proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.

This is a full time role (temporary contract) based in our Piccadilly Head Office, working with a friendly, welcoming bunch of people and available for an immediate start.
