An irresistible collection of tales which use a dominant personality trait to drive the story and teach a moral lesson, the series became immensely popular and spawned much-loved characters like Mr Bump, Mr Happy and Mr Topsy Turvy. In 1981, the Mr Men books were joined by the Little Miss series, with television adaptations and numerous spin-off book series following in their wake.
