Zero Hours

Waterstones Deansgate is excited to announce an event with local author Neil Campbell for his forthcoming novel Zero Hours.

'In a post-Brexit Britain filled with low paid zero hours jobs a young man navigates the world through his writing and in doing so pens a bittersweet song to Manchester.'

This night promises to be a poignant conversation that looks beyond the shiny exterior of Manchester as a regenerating city and into some key social and political themes.

Neil will be in conversation with lecturer and fellow novelist, Nicholas Royle.  Nick also works as an editor at Salt, and is most well known for the yearly delight that is: Best British Short Stories.

This event is free, but do let our bookshop know you are coming by calling us on: 01618373000, or emailing us at [email protected].

Your name will be added to a list.
