We always love listening to your poems, short stories and ideas. And as Bristol celebrates Pride Month, we want to join in and offer our usual inclusive and supportive platform.
Want to share your words and stories? Felt inspired by other recent works (looking at you, Heartstopper...)? Or simply feel like joining in for an evening of fun and cheers in our bookshop? Join us!
We're also bringing back our poetry competition amongst submitted entries: the audience will vote for their favourite piece which we will print and display in the shop for all readers to enjoy.
*All forms and genres are accepted but the competition is for poems only*
Whether you're a returning speaker or this is your first open mic, the game is the same: send us your works at [email protected] and keep your material under 3 minutes to read. If you'd like us to find someone to read on your behalf, let us know.
