Well Thumbed – A Literary Performance

Friday 9th November 18:30 at London - Gower Street

Once upon a time when you took a classic book from the shelf it always opened at the well-thumbed mucky bits… That’s all the excuse that’s needed for some outrageous stand-up literature...

Taking place alongside Carl Chapple’s portraiture exhibition A Thousand Words, join Terry Victor – fresh from the Edinburgh Fringe – as he performs his hilarious literary stand up show Well Thumbed, in the Gower St. Gallery.

Well Thumbed squeezes the work of more than 70 great writers into less than one hour – stand up comedy with the finest literary source material. Edinburgh Fringe called it "utterly engaging and superbly researched with real wit. Proof that even the highest brow of literature is not above a top shelf gag”.
