Waterstones and Lush Book Club Present: An Evening with Erin Morgenstern
Thursday 28th November 18:30 at Hoxton Hall, 30 Hoxton St, London, N1 6SH
Erin Morgenstern, bestselling author of The Night Circus, joins Waterstones and Lush Book Club for one night only to celebrate the publication of her spellbinding new novel The Starless Sea.
Built from fables, myths and fairy tales, Erin’s highly-anticipated second novel begins when Zachary Ezra Rawlins discovers a strange book hidden in the library stacks. Coming eight years after The Night Circus, The Starless Sea is a book-lover’s delight, a story of a subterranean labyrinth, hidden clues and wildly inventive magic. It is about the multiplicity of stories themselves and why they matter in navigating and understanding the choices we face.
Waterstones and Lush Book Club are delighted to be teaming up for this very special evening in the gorgeous Victorian surroundings of Hoxton Hall, treating attendees to an evening of theatrics, performance and some serious Morgenstern magic. Erin will be interviewed by Anna James, author, journalist and host of Lush Book Club, and long-time fan of Erin’s writing - as are Lush. Erin's writing has been a source of inspiration to Lush, from its shop staff to its co-founders.
All tickets will include a Lush product, specially chosen for the evening, and a themed cocktail or mocktail.
Doors will open at 6.30pm, for a 7pm start. Please note that seating is unnreserved and will be on a first come first saved basis.
This event will also include a book signing with Erin Morgenstern. Join us for what promises to be a truly magical evening.
