The Waterstones Children’s Book Prize is to reward and champion emerging children’s writers and illustrators and is voted for by Waterstones Booksellers. Every year Waterstone’s expert booksellers vote for the books they believe are the very best in the new children’s writing and illustration. Now in its 18th year, the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize has evolved into one of the most prestigious accolades for children’s books in the UK, launching the careers of many authors and illustrators.
Please notes that books will be available for purchase on the night and the authors will be signing copies of their books.
