The Short Of It with Victoria Villasenor

Monday 4th February 18:00 - 20:00 at Nottingham

Short stories require a particular skill set, and they demand the utmost attention. Where do you begin? How do you know what to put in and what to leave out? How do you create a short story that leaves the readers desperate to read more of your work?

In this six week course we'll work through the particulars of short story construction, including character development, plot and story arcs. Throughout, you'll develop a piece of writing for your portfolio.

Suitable for writers at all levels.

Six week course running from 6pm – 8pm on Mondays between the 4th February and the 11th March 2019, in the Sillitoe Room at Waterstones Nottingham. Please go to for more information.
