Join us as we celebrate CWA's National Crime Reading Month with psychological thriller authors Andrea Mara and Kia Abdullah. Hosted by blogger Stu Cummings, they'll be dissecting the thriller genre, discussing what makes a great crime read and how they write about what goes on behind closed doors. 

Andrea Mara is a Number One Sunday Times, Irish Times, and Kindle bestselling author, who has been shortlisted for Irish Crime Novel of the Year at the An Post Book Awards for four of her books. Her most recent novel, No One Saw A Thing, was a Number One bestseller in the UK, in Ireland and on Kindle, a Richard and Judy Book Club pick, and has sold over 100,000 copies, spending five months in the Irish Top Ten.
Her novel All Her Fault was Sunday Times Crime Book of the Month, a top ten bestseller in the UK and Ireland. Hide And Seek charted in the Irish Times bestseller list for five weeks and was shortlisted for Irish Crime Novel of the Year in 2022.

Kia Abdullah is a bestselling author and travel writer. Her novel Next of Kin was longlisted for the CWA Gold Dagger and won the Adult Fiction Diverse Book Award 2022. Her latest novel, Those People Next Door, was a Waterstones Thriller of the Month and a Times Bestseller.
