The Magic Lamp: An Evening with Ben Okri and Rosemary Clunie

Tuesday 19th September 18:30 - 20:30 at London - Gower Street

The Magic Lamp is a collection of twenty five stories and twenty five paintings, and developed through the friendship and creative collaboration of Booker Prize-winning author Ben Okri and the painter Rosemary Clunie.

Together they created a world and peopled it with dreams.

The stories - fairytales for adults - are responses to our times, informed by our world but not limited by it; imaginative, enchanting, haunting - both prescient and prophetic. The paintings - beautiful, playful, intimate and dreamlike - pull you into a land of colour and vision.

What if we could see the world anew?

What if there really were a magic lamp?

Join Ben Okri and Rosemary Clunie for an evening of visionary art and magical storytelling to celebrate the publication of "The Magic Lamp: Dreams of Our Age"

£6 (£4 student) tickets are available online via Ticketscript, by telephone 020 7636 1577 and in store.
