The Little Library Supper Club with Kate Young and Lucy Dearlove
Friday 20th October 19:00 at London - Tottenham Court Road
Paddington Bear's marmalade, a Neopolitan pizza with Elena Ferrante, afternoon tea at Manderley… The Little Library Cookbook captures the magic and wonder of the over 100 meals enjoyed by some of our best-loved fictional characters, inspired by cookery writer Kate Young's well-stocked bookshelves. Kate’s blog, thelittlelibrarycafe.com has readers all over the world and is regularly featured in The Guardian.
We are hosting Kate for an exclusive supper club, in which she will bring to life The Women’s Meal from Virginia Woolf’s A Room of One’s Own. After reading from the iconic book itself Kate will sit down for an informal hosted by Lucy Dearlove (presenter of Lecker, a podcast about the life-changing power of a good meal) to present each course. Diners will be welcome to join in the discussion – this is an evening for good company, great food and shared conversation.
Tickets are priced at £25 and include a Virginia Woolf cocktail, a glass of wine/beer, and three-course meal. £5 is redeemable against a signed copy of The Little Library Cookbook.
