The Colour of Madness
Wednesday 3rd October 19:00 at Glasgow - Sauchiehall Street
Come and join us as we celebrate the publication of this groundbreaking book.
Stirling Publishing is publishing the anthology, The Colour of Madness, with contributions exclusively from the BAME community who have had experience with mental health issues.
With a forward by the therapist, activist and feminist, Guilane Kinouani and, contributions from mental health sufferers, manetal health workers and psychiatrists the anthology is a powerful indictment of our failure to address the disparity between BAME mental health care and that of the white community.
The Colour of Madness is the first book of it's kind to record mental health experiences by the BAME community and be edited and curated by a BAME editorial team.
Fifty percent of all royalties and rights sales will be donated to Kindred Minds.
