The C20 Society presents: The Buildings that Inspire Architects
Thursday 7th July 19:00 at London - Piccadilly
Celebrating the publication of 50 Architects 50 Buildings, we are thrilled to welcome the Twentieth Century Society to Waterstones Piccadilly.
In this new book, architectural journalist Pamela Buxton accompanied 50 leading architects as they revisited the building that had most inspired them, and interviewed them about how those buildings have influenced their own work. Originally commissioned for architectural newspaper Building Design, her interviews are accompanied by outstanding photographs of the buildings specially commissioned from Gareth Gardner and Ed Tyler.
At the event, Pamela Buxton will be in conversation with architects David Kohn, Sean Griffiths and Alex Mowat as featured in the book, about why they chose their buildings, and Ed Tyler will show some of the fabulous photographs from the book of inspiring buildings from around the world. This event is free but please reserve your space in store, by telephone 020 7851 2400, or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
