The Brighton Crime Wave Presents: An Evening With Jane Harper and Melanie McGrath

Waterstones Brighton and The Brighton Crime Wave are delighted to welcome international best selling author Jane Harper. Jane will be talking to us about her brand new novel The Lost Man as well as the phenominal success of her debut novel The Dry.

Jane Harper is the author of international bestsellers The Dry, Force of Nature and The Lost Man. Her books are published in more than 35 territories worldwide.

Jane Harper has won numerous top awards including the CWA Gold Dagger Award for Best Crime Novel, the British Book Awards Crime and Thriller Book of the Year, the Australian Book Industry Awards Book of the Year and the Australian Indie Awards Book of the Year.

The Dry is to made into a major motion picture starring Eric Bana as Aaron Falk; filming is underway in rural Victoria.

Taking part in our now famous 'Grilling' will be Melanie Mcgrath. Co-founder of Killer Women and an award-winning writer of fiction and nonfiction, as MJ McGrath she writes the acclaimed Edie Kiglatuk series of Arctic mysteries, twice longlisted for the CWA Gold Dagger and Times and Financial Times thrillers of the year. As Melanie McGrath she wrote the critically acclaimed and bestselling family memoir Silvertown. As Mel McGrath she is the author of the psychological thriller Give Me The Child. Melanie will be talking about her chilling new Mel Mcgrath thriller, The Guilty Party.
