The Body Positivity Revolution with #SaggyBoobsMatter and #ScarredNotScared
Thursday 26th July 19:00 at London - Tottenham Court Road
It’s not always easy to find self-worth in a world that seems obsessed with telling us we’re not good enough, and it's very easy to be hard on ourselves about the way we look. But you’re doing just fine.
We will be joined by ‘The Slumflower’ Chidera Eggerue, the unstoppable force behind the groundbreaking #SaggyBoobsMatter movement, and award-winning body positivity activist, Michelle Elman, whose Instagram #scarrednotscared recognises that all bodies are equally valuable and broadens the billboard definitions of beauty.
Celebrating the release of both Chidera’s debut book, What a Time to be Alone, and Michelle’s Am I Ugly? (taking its title the phrase 10million women Google search each month), , their conversation will be chaired by body positive influencer Grace Latter (almostamazinggrace.co.uk), and will chart the expanding body positivity movement, the virtues of Instagram as a community, and tips from both on self-worth and mental health.
Tickets can be redeemed against either book on the night, or you can get a copy beforehand by purchasing ahead of time.
