The Best That we Can Be (For Mamas) - Free-writing Workshop & Discussion
Sunday 7th October 13:00 - 15:00 at Birmingham
Najité is a first time Mama, candid speaker & writes as a means of 'survival'.
Since giving birth she's been drawn to exploring the mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of motherhood - knowing just how much Mamas need nurturing too!
Wanting a book that benefited both her and her baby during the early chaos of motherhood, she created 'The Best That we Can be' - an honest affirmation book for mums to read with their newborns.
Now she hopes that other Mamas can also benefit from the book and find a little sanity through the madness.
An intimate afternoon of honest conversations surrounding the book's theme "growing through the chaos of early motherhood".
As well as holding a space for open discussion, Najite will also be facilitating a short writing exercise to explore the highs, the lows, the pride, the 'mom guilt' and the identity crisis (personal rebirth) that comes with motherhood's journey.
This is a baby friendly afternoon - ideal for new Mamas and Mamas to be, but everyone is welcome.
We hope you can join us for this very special afternoon.
Tickets are £4 (including fees) and are available online.
