Storytelling and activities with Judy Brulo.
Sunday 14th October 14:00 at Birmingham
Our hero, ten-year-old Luke Bright, moves from the U.K. with his mother and stepfather, to begin a new life on the Mediterranean island of Ýpas Nisí, Vulture Island. He’s angry about the decision. He’s also upset about losing his friends. But what choice does he have?
Once on the island, Luke’s fears fade when, on an early morning run, he comes face to face with a very special griffon vulture. Boy and vulture become friends and Luke names him Griff.
Griff guides Luke on a quest. What mysteries will Luke discover at the ruined temple of Amphora? Why does Griff need Luke’s help to protect the mysteries and treasures which lie under the temple? Do these mighty vultures, The Servants of the Gods, really carry the souls of the dead to the never-ending universe?
Come and join us for an afternoon of activities, music and to find out more about Luke's adventures with Griff.
