Stacey Halls in conversation with Kate Williams
Monday 14th June 19:30 at Online Events
‘Mesmerising, entrancing, a spellbinding novelof emotion and mystery….. Gripping to the very last page.’ - Kate Williams
Join us for this special event with Stacey Halls as she talks to Kate Williams about her third novel Mrs England, an intense portrait of an Edwardian marriage set against the atmospheric landscape of West Yorkshire.
The bestselling author of The Familiars and The Foundling, Stacey has become one of the most exciting and compelling new storytellers of our time. Simmering with slow-burning menace, Mrs England is an enthralling story of men and women, power and control, courage, truth and the very darkest deception.
Stacey will be interviewed by historian, author and broadcaster Kate Williams. Kate is the author of nine books (most recently Rival Queens), appears weekly on television and radio, and chaired the Women's Prize for Fiction in 2019.
