Her debut collection, Small Hands, was published in 2015 and won the Forward Prize for Best First Collection. The poet George Szirtes commented, It is unusual to find a first book as beautiful as this.

Ruby Robinsons debut collection, Every Little Sound, was published last year and shortlisted for the TS Eliot prize and the Forward Prize for Best First Collection. She also won the Ictus Prize while studying for herMA at Sheffield Hallam University. Paul Farley wrote, Ruby Robinson is a real find. Her agile and poised poems play with scale, listen out and in, and crank the gain up on the world.

Deryn Rees-Jonesis Professor of Poetry at the University of Liverpool and editor of Pavilion Poetry. She won an Eric Gregory award and is one of the Poetry Book Society’s Next Generation poets. Her poetry books have been shortlisted for TS Eliot and Forward prizes and her latest, What It's Like to Be Alive, is a collection of selected poems, concluding with a new long poem, i.m. and is published by Seren. Ian McMillan described her as the pick of the crop, a magician with attitude.

Pavilion Poetry was launched in 2015 by Liverpool University Press. It seeks to publish the very best in contemporary poetry. Always international in its reach, it is poetry that takes a risk. Whether by new or established and award-winning writers, this is poetry sure to challenge and delight.
