The Waterstones Brighton 'Write and Raise' Short Fiction Prize 2018

Waterstones Brighton are thrilled to announce Write & Raise 2018, the 2nd year of our annual creative writing competition. Launched in 2017, Write & Raise is a unique initiative created to provide a platform for aspiring writers as well as generate funds & awareness for charitable ventures. This year we are again inviting entrants to submit 1200-2000 words, inspired by the work of a charity of their choice, in any written format and genre. The deadline for entries is Friday 19th October 2018 and the shortlist will be announced on Friday 30th November 2018. The winner will be announced at a special event celebrating Write & Raise and all those involved to be held at Waterstones Brighton on Thursday 24th January 2019.
