Sebastien de Castell and Martin Stewart In Conversation

Sebastien de Castell and Martin Stewart In Conversation

Glasgow - Argyle Street
Tuesday 25th September 18:30 - 20:00

Martin Stewart, author of the critically acclaimed young adult fantasies Riverkeep and Sacrifice Box, and Sebastien de Castell, author of the Spellslinger series whose fourth volume Soulbinder releases soon, join us for a discussion of magic, mayhem, mystery and amazement. Martin Stewart's Riverkeep is a darkly gothic journey, with very human stakes and a strong dash of humour running through it, and The Sacrifice Box ramps up the humour and the horror in a milieu of retro 80s culture. Sebastien de Castell's Spellslinger series is a Western coming of age tale with magic and mayhem, and a streak of darkness running through the quest at its heart. Both writers will be talking about their work, about the joys of magic and writing for young adult audiences, answering your audience questions, and of course, signing books, so don't miss your chance to meet these two fantastic writers! Tickets are free but please book to avoid disappointment.
