Join Liz Fekete, the director of the Institute of Race Relations, and Bridget Anderson to launch Liz' new book Europe’s Fault Lines: Racism and the Rise of the Right.
Liz Fekete is Director of the Institute of Race Relations, where she has worked for over thirty years. She heads its European Research Programme (ERP) and is Advisory Editor to its journal Race & Class. She is the author of A Suitable Enemy: Racism, Migration and Islamophobia in Europe and the recently published Europe’s Fault Lines: Racism and the Rise of the Right.
Bridget Anderson is Professor of Mobilities, Migration and Citizenship at the University of Bristol. Her books include Us and Them? The Dangerous Politics of Immigration Controls, and Care and Migrant Labour: Theory, Policy and Politics, co-edited with Isabel Shutes. Although now an academic Bridget started her working life in the voluntary sector working with migrant domestic workers, and she has retained an interest in domestic labour and migration. She has worked closely with migrants' organisations, trades unions and legal practitioners at local, national and international level.
