Redhill Reading Group - May
Sunday 22nd May 15:00 - 16:30 at Redhill
This month we are discussing the haunting Gothic horror novel 'The Loney' by Andrew Michael Hurley, which Stephen King has called 'amazing piece of fiction.'
It is the story of two brothers, one mute, the other his lifelong protector. Each year they visit the same sacred shrine on a desolate strip of coastline called 'The Loney,' in desperate hope of a cure for Hanny.
Many years on, Hanny is now a grown man no longer in need of his brother's care. But then the child's body is discovered, and the Loney gives up its dark secrets...
As usual we will meet in store at 3pm to have a relaxed chat about the book, and then we will put our heads together to chose the next bestseller to discuss!
