Join us as we celebrate Black History Month with an exclusive online event. Anti-racism activist Sophie Williams will be talking to bestselling author Ibi Zoboi and prison reform activist Yusef Salaam of the Exonerated Five about their brilliant new book Punching The Air.

Punching The Air is a powerful YA novel written in verse, about a boy who is wrongfully incarcerated. Ibi and Yusef tell a moving a deeply profound story about how one boy is able to maintain his humanity and fight for the truth, in a system designed to strip him of both.

Sophie Williams is a leading anti-racism advocate, activist, and the author of two upcoming books – Anti Racist Ally (publishes 15th October 2020) and Millennial Black (publishing April 2021). Her no-holds-barred posts about racism and Black Lives Matter on @officialmillennialblack have taken the online world by storm.

Each ticket purchased will include a £1 donation to charity Black Minds Matter.
