Not Another Books Podcast presents: Naija Noir with Leye Adenle

Monday 8th October 2018
18:30 at Waterstones, London - Gower Street

Join us for an evening of Naija Noir with Not Another Book Podcast and Cassava Republic, to celebrate the release of award-winning crime author Leye Adenle's When Trouble Sleeps.

The highly anticipated sequel to his acclaimed debut novel Easy Motion Tourist, his compelling thriller is the perfect introduction to Naija Noir, trading in the chill of Scandi Noir for the tumultuous heat of the megacity Lagos and showcasing Africa’s most populous country at its most glamorous and most sordid.

Leye will be in conversation with two-thirds of Not Another Book, Books & Rhymes (Sarah Ozo-Irabor) and Postcolonial Child (Yovanka Paquete Perdigao). Join them for a fast-paced evening of crime lit as Leye brings to life the thrilling world of sex workers, greed, political intrigue, blackmail and murder.

Leye will be signing copies of When Trouble Sleeps, and the widely-praised new anthology, Lagos Noir, to which he is a contributor.

Numbers strictly limited, please book promptly to avoid disappointment. Tickets are £8/6 (students) and include a glass of wine or soft drink. Book online, in store or by phoning 020 7636 1577.
