SOLD OUT Northern Fiction Alliance Roadshow

Tuesday 26th September 18:00 - 20:00 at Manchester - Deansgate

This event is now sold out.

Here to disprove that all great publishing happens in London, the newly formed collective, The Northern Fiction Alliance demonstrates that the North is a creative stronghold for innovative publishing.

Join us on Tuesday 26th September, 6-8pm at Waterstones Manchester Deansgate for our first NFA Roadshow. The evening will showcase a variety of the presses and the books that they are publishing, with talks and readings from their editors and authors. Come along and learn what the NFA are up to, get insider knowledge on the publishing industry and buy discounted books with some freebies!

The Northern Fiction Alliance is made up of some of the most exciting small presses in the UK, and those attending include And Other Stories, Bluemoose Books, Comma Press, Dead Ink Books, Mayfly, Peepal Tree Press, Route, Saraband and Tilted Axis Press.

The following authors published by the NFA presses will be reading from their work on the night:

Martyn Bedford (Comma Press)
Heidi James (Bluemoose)
Joanna Walsh (And Other Stories)
Paul Hanley (Route)
Jacob Ross (Peepal Tree Press)
Naomi Booth (Dead Ink Books)
Benjamin Myers (Mayfly)
Graeme Macrae Burnet (Saraband)

The evening is going to be an informal one, with a chance for attendees to meet a selection of authors and editors, socialise and feel inspired by the exciting publishing which is happening in the North of England!

Tickets for the event are £3 and include a glass of wine or soft drink on arrival. There'll also be a 10% discount on any books purchased on the night published by any of the presses in attendance.
