Noirwich Crime Writing Festival Presents: Post-Truth – Crime in the Digital Age
Friday 8th September 2023
19:00 at
Waterstones, Norwich - Castle Street

Join Eliza Clark (Boy Parts, Penance and Granta Best of Young British Novelist ‘23) and Steve Hollyman (Esc&Ctrl) for a discussion of the intersection between highly innovative crime narratives and digital forms. Chaired by Dr Nathan Ashman, UEA Lecturer in Crime Writing.
This event is free to attend, but booking is essential.
Eliza Clark is from Newcastle Upon Tyne and lives in London. Her debut novel, Boy Parts, published by Influx Press in July 2020, was Blackwell’s Fiction Book of the Year. In 2023, Eliza was included in Granta magazine’s ‘Best of Young British Novelists’, a once-in-a-decade list which hails the literary tars of the future.
Steve Hollyman’s first novel, Lairies, was published in 2021, and appeared as a Book of the Day in the Guardian. His second novel, the metafictional murder mystery Esc&Ctrl, was published in 2022. Steve is vocalist and guitarist in the three-piece alternative rock group CreepJoint, and works as a Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing.
