No Less Than Mystic: An Evening With John Medhurst

Friday 8th September 19:30 at Brighton

With Jeremy Corbyn in the ascendancy, and socialism in the UK a more realistic possibility than it has been for years, this is a timely exploration of the relevance of the Russian Revolution for a modern left wing politics. In the 100th anniversary year, John Medhurst challenges orthodoxies on both left and right, giving us a truly fresh look at one of the most important events of the 20th Century. Medhurst will be discussing his new book No Less Than Mystic: A History of Lenin and the Russian Revolution for a 21st-Century Left -  a fresh and iconoclastic history of Lenin and the Bolsheviks for a modern audience, published in the 100th anniversary year of the Russian Revolution.
