Nine Arches Press present Robert Peake and Richie McCaffery

Wednesday 19th September 19:00 - 20:30 at Birmingham

Join Midlands-based publisher Nine Arches Press to celebrate the publication of two brand new collections by Robert Peake and Richie McCaffery, with special guest readings from Cynthia Miller and Isobel Dixon.
Cyclone by British-American poet Robert Peake is about weathering storms - personal, political and psychological - and is described as 'his most powerful work to date' by Michael Symmons Roberts. Richie McCaffery's new collection, Passport, is 'searching and self-deprecating, critical and often humorous' (Paul Stephenson), based on his time spent living in Belgium, exploring displacement, borders and boundaries.
Supporting them will be two inspiring voices: Isobel Dixon, reading from her newly re-issued collections A Fold in the Map and The Tempest Prognosticator and Cynthia Miller, Forward Arts Foundation Trustee and co-director of Birmingham's very own Verve Poetry Festival.
There is something for everyone with this line-up and all poets will be signing copies of their books - do join us for what promises to be a brilliant evening of some of the best in contemporary poetry.
