National Crime Reading Month Launch at Waterstones Piccadilly

Join the Crime Writers Association, The Reading Agency and a host of bestselling authors to launch National Crime Reading Month at Waterstones iconic Piccadilly store.

In a panel event to mark the start of this national month long celebration of crime reading, author and Red Hot Chilli Writers podcast host Abir Mukherjee will chat to bestsellers Lisa Jewell, LJ Ross and Nadine Matheson about the books that have influenced them and their favourite reads - dipping in to reveal those crucial opening lines.

Introduced by Sam Blake and Vaseem Khan, Crime Writers Association Chair Maxim Jakubowski will officially launch National Crime Reading Month with Alex Turton of The Reading Agency.

About the CWA

The CWA was founded in 1953 by John Creasey. Its aim is to support, promote and celebrate this most durable, adaptable and successful of genres and the authors who write within it.
