Monday 8th October 18:30 at London - Piccadilly
Join us in store with Min Jin Lee and Erica Wagner as they discuss Min's gripping, heartfelt epic Pachinko, and the effects of merging literature with politics.
Pachinko is 'deep, broad, addictive history of a Korean family in Japan enduring and prospering through the 20th century', merging identity, exile, and a determination to endure to create a rich and sweeping novel.
Min Jin Lee is a recipient of fellowship in Fiction from the Guggenheim Foundation (2018) and the Radcliffe Institute of Advanced Study (2018-19). Min has spoken at various American institutions regarding her literature and politics, while her writings about culture, politics, books, travel and food have appeared in publications from The New Yorker, to The Guardian, and The Wall Street Journal.
