Middleway Words Festival at Waterstones Nottingham

Join Middleway Word Festival at Waterstones Nottingham for an evening with local authors!

Middleway Words Online Festival began in 2021, during the Covid lockdown. It was created to reach readers and writers throughout the Midlands region informing them of writers, book sellers, publishers and other associated services that exist within the area. A successful week of online interviews, readings, talks and workshops followed the press release to regional news centres and social media outlets.

It is planned that in successive years, each county will hold its County Day with live events where readers will be able to meet a number of their own local authors, poets and any other local literary interest venues.

This year, Thursday, 10th November is Nottingham Day, when a number of local authors, namely Elizabeth Chadwick, Clare Harvey, T M Logan, Ian Charles Douglas and Wilf Morgan will be at Waterstones Nottingham, together with BBC Radio Nottingham presenter John Holmes, who will act as the evenings quiz master!

The event runs from 6.30-8.30pm and will comprise a Question and Answer panel, readings and book signings. Refreshments will be available.
