Former Children’s Laureate Michael Morpurgo is a master storyteller who has created many award-winning children’s books including War Horse, Kensukes’s Kingdom and Eagle in the Snow. Join him on this special occasion as he talks with Gabby Roslin (Children in Need, BBC Radio London) about the stunning new hardback edition of his modern WW1 classic, Private Peaceful, to commemorate the centenary of the Battle of the Somme.
Please note: Due to an arm injury Michael Morpurgo is unable to sign copies of his books. However, there will be an opportunity for a meet and greet with Michael after the event and printed bookplates with his signature will also be available.
Tickets: £8 general admission or £20 (entry, and the new edition of Private Peaceful).
Seating is unreserved and will be available on a first come, first served basis.
