Meet James Bowen and Bob the Street Cat

Wednesday 7th November 13:00 at Southampton - West Quay

Here's a little treat for all our cat loving customers and anyone who likes a feel good story.

We are delighted to welcome James Bowen and his beloved street cat Bob to our store.  James and Bob have been through a lot since they met in 2007.  From walking the streets of London selling the Big Issue to walking the red carpet at the premier of the film about their life, it's been an eventful decade.

But through it all, Bob has remained the same.  An unwavering, zen-like presence, whether he's sat on the bus or giving high-fives on television's 'This Morning'.  Like many animal lovers, James has come to rely on his cat as not just his pet but as a friend and as a souce of wisdom

The Little Book of Bob is a collection of the lessons James has learnt from Bob over the years.  From the power of friendship to staying calm and finding the joys in a simple life, let Bob be your guide on how to navigate the ins and outs of life like a wise street cat.

No ticket will be necessary to attend but we do anticipate that this event will be extremely busy so would suggest arriving early to avoid disappointment, especially as James will only be able to personalise (with fan names) the first 200 books.

James will sign a maximum of two books for each customer.  We regret that no flash photography can be permitted as this may cause distress to Bob.
