Love Poems for Valentine's with the Emma Press

Liz will be reading from her award-winning collection Black Country and Best Friends Forever, the Emma Press anthology of poems about female friendship. Richard will read from his pamphlet of love poems, The Emmores, and Mildly Erotic Verse, the new Emma Press anthology which 'celebrates modern eroticism in all its messy, sexy glory'.
The evening will be hosted by Emma Wright from the Emma Press, which is newly based in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter.
Emma is curating the open-mic section, and is looking forward to meeting local writers. Poets are invited to email her on [email protected] before Sunday 7th February with a love poem attached or in the body of the email if they would like to read alongside Liz and Richard. Poems can be about any kind of love, not just romantic!
