Laura Purcell in Conversation with Bea Fitzgerald

Join us for an evening with Laura Purcell, to celebrate the release of her YA debut Moonstone. Laura will be interviewed by Bea Fitzgerald, author of the bestselling Girl, Goddess, Queen. The interview will be followed by an audience Q&A and then a book signing.

Moonstone has a Regency feel to it but with full blown supernatural and dark fairytale elements. Camille is banished to the woods to live with her strict godmother and her strange daughter Lucy. As the pair become intensely close, strange things begin to happen that hint at otherworldly things. Moonstone has been described as a haunting, gothic romance with real bite and it should appeal to fans of Romantasy and crossover fantasy fiction by the like of Sarah J Maas.

Laura Purcell is a former bookseller and the Sunday Times bestselling author of The Silent Companions. Laura is a historical and horror novelist and script writer. A few of her other bestselling novels include The Shape of Darkness, The Corset and The Whispering Muse. Moonstone is a haunting gothic romance with real bite.

Bea Ftizgerald's Girl, Goddess, Queen tears up the Greek myth of Persephone with irresistible exuberance, rising TikTok star Fitzgerald crafts an irreverent romcom retelling where Demeter's headstrong daughter feels the heat with a seriously smoking Hades.
