Jocasta Innes was a much-loved cookery and decorating guru, who did so much to dispel popular myths and fears and get us into the kitchen - and up step-ladders! - in the 1970s and 1980s. To celebrate the republication of her classic cookbook The Country Kitchen, her son Jason Goodwin talks about Jocasta’s remarkable life, from her early days in China, to Dorset and Spitalfields.
