One man returns, ready to disobey the world he fought so hard for.
A powerful new literary thriller from Jari Moate, overlaid with British Gothic and the New Weird that questions how we live, from festival founder, author of Paradise Nowand This Brick In My Hand.
‘Marine P’ is a soldier on the run from lost love and war, carrying a shocking secret, following a dead man’s voice to a derelict chocolate factory in Bristol. Inside, the old platoon are gathering for safety, a civilian surveyor says she cannot escape, and a mob with dark intent roam a shifting labyrinth. Nothing is what it seems as visions of society clash, and Marine P seeks a new way to live by paying the ancient cost of peace.
