Saturday 8th March 2025
14:00 - 18:00 at
Waterstones, Cambridge
Join us in celebrating IWD 2025 with an incredible line up of authors. Marisa Bates, Jennifer Cox, and Nicola Dinan will each be discussing their books with Pragya Agarwal. These three interview segments will be followed by a panel discussion with all the authors.
Journalist, author and activist Marisa Bate will discuss And Still We March and the attack on women’s rights on both sides of the Atlantic. Psychotherapist, author and broadcaster Jennifer Cox will discuss Women are Angry, a book that reveals how women are conditioned not to speak out and provides tools for showing where your rage is hiding and how to let it out. Critically acclaimed author of Bellies, novelist Nicola Dinan will discuss her brand-new novel Disappoint Me – a funny and poignant exploration of millennial angst, race, trans panic, and the allure of bougie domesticity.
They will be in conversation with writer and academic Professor Pragya Agarwal, Fellow at Newnham College, University of Cambridge, visiting professor of social inequities at Loughborough, and author of (M)otherhood and Hysterical.
Book signing to follow.
